EuroLeish fellows Sonia Ares, Rita Velez, and Celine Aerts facilitated an educational activity for primary school students (6-7 year-old) in Barcelona. The activity included role plays that engaged students and helped them understand how a sand-fly vector spread leishmaniasis, even here in Europe.

Fellows also explained their research as members of EuroLeish network for leishmaniasis control with the support from the European Union. They also gave stickers to the students to promote public support for scientific research.
