The Spanish Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (SEBBM), founded in 1963, currently has more than 3700 members, and is Spain's main scientific association coordinating activities related to the broad field of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
This year, the XXXIX Congreso de la Sociedad Española de Bioquímica y Biología Molecular was held at the Palace of Congresses and Exhibitions of Salamanca, Spain, from the 5th to the 8th September 2016.
At the occasion of the Congress, the Euroleish.net project 2.2 lead by Luis Martins (from the CSIC) presented a poster on The Enoyl-CoA hydratase/isomerase of Leishmania infantum as a potential therapeutic target. Luis's project is aimed to develop a recombinant vaccine against leishmaniasis (from differential expression to the field).
The PDF version of the project' poster is downloadable here.
