Ministry of Public Health - Vector Control Services

Guyana's Ministry of Public Health strives to improve the physical, social and mental health status of all Guyanese by ensuring that health services are as accessible, acceptable, affordable, timely and appropriate as possible given available resources and enhance the effectiveness of health personnel through continuing education, training and management systems involvement: The Vector Control Services at the Ministry of Public Health collaborates with project 1.6 titled “Economic and business impact evaluation of Public-Private Partnerships for the development of drugs and diagnostic tools for leishmaniasis and other neglected tropical diseases (NTDs)”. This collaboration is in coordination with Dr. Horace Cox, Director of Vector Control Services.
