Aurore Lison

Aurore graduated in master in Biochemistry, Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Namur (Belgium) in June 2015. In her master thesis, she worked one year in a laboratory of immunology on the topic “Characterization of an intradermic infection of pathogenic bacteria Brucella in a mice model” (Research Unit in Biology of Microorganisms, Laboratory of Immunology and Microbiology). For this project, she had to follow a formation to work in a Biosafety level 3 with pathogenic organisms.
Aurore also has a formation for animal handling. She is particularly used to work with mice (infection, euthanasia and dissection). Prior to join the Euroleish.net project, she was following a fourth-months internship in the Institut Pasteur of French Guiana on the topic “Immunity of leishmaniasis”, particularly on the co-infection with the Leishmania RNA virus on human tissues samples.
