Bruno Bremer Hinckel

Pharmacist/ Biochemist (University of São Paulo, BR, 2011) with master degree in the field of drug delivery (University of Bonn, DE, 2015), Bruno is looking now forward to change direction, starting and consolidating a career in the field of tropical diseases, especially leishmaniasis. He has interest mainly in immunology, molecular diagnostic, vaccine development and almost everything related to parasitology.

Bruno has professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry (Brazil and Switzerland) in the field of quality assurance and drug safety and research experience mainly in organic chemistry and more recently with bioinformatics focused on tropical diseases (leishmaniasis and sleeping sickness).

His interests outside science include sports in general, history, languages, international politics and relations, music, technology in general.

Bruno's expectation from the Euroleish program is to acquire solid knowledge and training that will enable me to work for the people in the most need of attention in a non-distant future.
