Petr Volf
Research interests: Biology of bloodsucking insects, parasite-vector-host relationships and their molecular, biochemical and immunological aspects. Sand fly-Leishmania interaction, vector competence, Leishmania transmission, sand fly salivary proteins, leishmania epidemiology.
Supervisor of PhD and MSc students: 14 PhD and 19 MSc students graduated, at present supervisor of 1 MSc and 4 PhD students.
Publication activity: one Czech book and 122 scientific publications in international journals, books and proceedings, 116 of them in journals with IF (111 original articles and 5 reviews).
Citations on WoS: more than 2000. SCI H-index = 26.
